2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use our website our hosting infrastructure automatically records limited technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the date and time of your request. We use this information to operate the site, to keep it secure, and to prevent abuse such as spam and automated submissions of our forms.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies as described in Section 6. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as health, financial account, biometric, or government identifier data through this website, and we ask that you do not send such information to us through the quote form.
3. How we use your personal information
- To respond to your quote request and contact you about your project.

- To communicate with you, including scheduling, follow up, and post project touchups.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve our website.
- To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, spam, abuse and security incidents.
- To keep business records and to comply with our legal obligations.
We will not use your personal information for a materially new purpose without first obtaining your consent, unless we are permitted or required to do so by law.
4. Our legal basis for processing
Under PIPEDA and Quebec law we rely on your consent to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes described in this policy. By submitting the quote form you consent to us contacting you about your request. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 9, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Where the GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent for optional analytics and for contacting you about your enquiry; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract when we prepare a quote or carry out work; and our legitimate interests in securing our website, preventing abuse, and running our business, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
5. When we share personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising. We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers who process personal information on our behalf and only on our instructions. These include Brevo (Sendinblue), which delivers the email notification generated when you submit the quote form, and our website host, Hostinger, which operates the servers that run this site. If we later enable website analytics we will use Google Analytics as described in Section 6.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our business, or others.
- Business transfer. If our business is sold or reorganized, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6. Cookies and similar technologies

7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process personal information on servers located outside your province or country, including in the United States and the European Union. When personal information is transferred outside of Canada it may be subject to the laws of the destination country and accessible to courts, law enforcement and national authorities in that country. We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to maintain reasonable business and tax records, and to meet our legal obligations. - Additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA. California residents have the rights to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request in order to protect your information.
